Meet an “Amazing” Who’s Got a Terrific Secret: “Never Stop”

Curt Davison, age 92, a Navy WWII vet, broke the worldwide record for the hammer throw this year, in his age category - 25.28 meters at the 2017 National Senior Games. He beat the previous record - 24.11 set in 2005 by Australian John Fraser.
What makes his record even more astonishing, is that Curt only took up the hammer throw at the ripe young age of 87! He started his fun-with-sports (field and track) at 50, at which time he felt his 5 children were sufficiently raised, although he continued his professional career as a freelance advertising creative director long after most retire.
Curt exercises or trains five days a week. His longevity philosophy is simple: just don’t stop! Cause once you do, it’s all over. Agreed!
