Ride Sharing App for Boats Looking for Boat Owners
Anchor, Peer-to-Pier Boat Charter, Sets Sail at the Lake of the Ozarks

For the first time ever, a convenient, safe and affordable on-demand boat charter service will be offered at the Lake of the Ozarks. Anchor, which will launch this Memorial Day Weekend, will provide boat charters for groups of up to 12 people via its smartphone app—much like other ridesharing services on land but Anchor is for boats. But before Anchor is able to keep up with the demand, it needs help from experienced boat drivers interested in making a boat loads of extra extra cash this summer by offering part-time help.
“Anchor will provide those who want to be on the water a chance to sit back and enjoy a safe ride,” said Zach Hatraf, Founder and CEO of Anchor. “We will offer people a quick and inexpensive way to get around the Lake. However, we can’t do this without great drivers. We need their help.”
In order to be an Anchor Driver candidates must have access to a boat (they can rent it or own it) and they must pass a rigorous background check.

“Of course we want drivers who love the Lake,” said Hatraf, “but we also want our customers to know that we value safety first. That’s why we also ask drivers to pass our background check. Once they show they have legal access to a boat and pass our background check they can become certified Anchor Drivers.”
Hatraf encourages experienced boat drivers who are looking to make extra money this summer to visit the Anchor website and sign up. The Anchor website is:
