• Sunset Hills considers two changes to zoning regulations on recreation, senior living facilities (callnewspapers.com) — Sunset Hills officials are weighing new zoning rules that would ban large sports complexes while clarifying where gyms, indoor recreation, and amusement centers can locate in the city. They're also debating a new Senior Living zoning district to guide expansions like Friendship Village's, including minimum lot sizes, density limits, and parking and open-space requirements. Both proposals return to the Board in September for further action.
