• Religious freedom at stake in archbishop's lawsuit against ICE (aleteia.org) — A University City parish priest is among the plaintiffs in a new Archdiocese of St. Louis lawsuit claiming ICE and Ste. Genevieve County jail policies block Catholic detainees from receiving sacraments. The suit argues current visitation rules violate religious-freedom protections and seeks more flexible, in-person access so priests can hear confessions, offer Communion, and celebrate Mass for detainees.
