• Warrensburg Farmers' Market to close season with Moonlight Market (warrensburgstarjournal.com) — Downtown Warrensburg will cap the 2026 Farmers' Market season with a free Moonlight Market on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 4 to 7 p.m. around the Johnson County Courthouse Square. Expect live jazz, food trucks, late-night shopping, and dozens of local farmers, artisans, and makers offering everything from produce and honey to crafts and desserts.
   

• Warrensburg Parks & Recreation announces Hawthorne Park Sensory Garden Trail groundbreaking (warrensburgstarjournal.com) — Warrensburg residents are invited to Wednesday's 4:30 p.m. groundbreaking for the new Hawthorne Park Sensory Garden Trail at 815 Hawthorne Boulevard, a project designed to make the park more inclusive and accessible. The City of Warrensburg and community partners are funding trail construction, sensory features, and accessibility upgrades, and the Chamber is helping organize the public ceremony.
