Community Foundation of West Plains Receives Large Donation (ozarkradionews.com) — A new $1.1 million endowment will fund long-term scholarships for graduates of West Plains, Willow Springs, and Liberty high schools who attend Missouri State University–West Plains to study medicine, education, or business. Created from the Robert L. Fant Trust, the fund will start accepting applications in January 2027 and is expected to significantly boost opportunities for local students and the regional workforce.
