• Wright City R-II School Board moves most 2026-27 meetings to Thursdays (warrencountyrecord.com) — Wright City’s Board of Education is shifting most regular meetings to the third Thursday of each month starting July 23, 2026, instead of Tuesdays. The board approved a full 2026‑27 calendar, with a few date adjustments around Thanksgiving, winter break, spring break, and potential April 2027 school board elections. 
• New gym at Wright City High School taking shape (warrencountyrecord.com) — Construction of the new performance gym at Wright City High School is moving ahead, with most exterior walls up and foundation work largely complete despite recent rain. Architects told the R-II school board the project remains on its 18‑month timeline, and new drainage features are being added to better manage water around the existing building, including near cafeteria restrooms.
