• Cavill brings a respect of rural Montana to her newest teaching role (falloncountytimes.com) — Baker families are welcoming a new seventh and eighth grade English teacher, Catie Cavill, who brings deep roots in southeastern Montana ranch country and a passion for rural education. After teaching in Lewistown and training through MSU’s Rural Pathways Project, she chose Baker to be closer to family and to invest in a tight-knit agricultural community. 
• Dennis 'Denny' Edwin Blutt, 80 (falloncountytimes.com) — Baker residents are remembering Dennis “Denny” Blutt, who was born in Baker in 1946 and later returned to his childhood home in Ekalaka. A Marine Corps veteran and mechanical engineer, he spent retirement building and racing cars, and will be laid to rest in Beaver Lodge Cemetery alongside family.
