• Water main break sends water flowing through Billings Heights neighborhood (ktvq.com) — A water main break in the Billings Heights sent water running down Agate Avenue, Shamrock Lane, and Emerald Drive for nearly a day and temporarily lowered water pressure for nearby homes. The County Water District of Billings Heights says a fiber-optic contractor pierced a line but does not expect the loss to raise individual water bills. Crews are working to complete repairs and fully account for the water loss.

• St. Vincent Regional Hospital building construction reaches half of final height (ktvq.com) — Construction of the new 14-story St. Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings has reached half its final height, marking a major milestone for local healthcare. The nearly $1 billion project will centralize imaging services, replace aging facilities, and eventually redevelop the current campus into parking and green space. • How A Montana Tragedy Turned Into A Nation Wide Movement (theriver979.com) — A volunteer group called the Bar Fairies now operates in Billings, quietly leaving coffee gift cards on cars left overnight at bars to reward people who don't drink and drive.
