(ktvh.com) — Drivers traveling between Helena and East Helena should expect lane closures, slower speeds, and brief side-street and turn-lane closures on US Highway 12 through mid-August as a $3.8 million pavement preservation project continues. Crews are milling the surface, sealing cracks, improving bridges and guardrails, and adding high-friction treatments and new striping on this heavily traveled stretch. Plan extra time for your commute.
