• Merchant sets record, Vikings lead State A track (hagadonenewsnetwork.com) — Frenchtown fans can cheer as Henry Griffin delivered in the shot put, winning with a 59-1 throw at the State A track and field championships in Laurel. His performance came amid a record-setting day highlighted by Bigfork sprinter Robert Merchant’s 400-meter mark and strong showings from teams across western and central Montana.
