• Alder Fire near Frenchtown at 93% containment as crews patrol and extinguish hot spots (kpax.com) — A major lightning-caused wildfire burning about seven miles southwest of Frenchtown is now 93% contained, but crews are still busy patrolling and putting out hot spots. Residents should be aware that area, road, and trail closures remain in place around the Alder Fire, and a temporary flight restriction is active while warm, dry weather and poor overnight humidity recovery continue.
