• Laurel wins twice to take State A softball (dailyinterlake.com) — Hamilton sports fans just hosted the State A softball championships at Hamilton High School, where Laurel ultimately claimed the weather-delayed title on Tuesday. Laurel pitcher Adrienne Roth dominated both games, limiting Hamilton’s Broncs to five hits in the decisive matchup after an earlier 13-1 rout powered by a huge fifth inning.
