• Park County sheriff sheds light on investigation into Georgeson death (kbzk.com) — Livingston-area readers now have answers in the February death of William Georgeson near Pray, as Park County authorities have arrested Ann Brooks on negligent homicide and related charges. Sheriff Tad Dykstra says the lengthy investigation aimed to fully document the circumstances before filing charges, and the case is now moving forward in Park County District Court.
   

• Bankhead wins Dem Senate primary (newsfromthestates.com) — Livingston residents may recognize local publisher and former legislator Reilly Neill, who lost Tuesday’s Democratic primary for Montana’s open U.S. Senate seat to Helena veteran Alani Bankhead. Bankhead, emphasizing child protection and public safety, will now face Republican Kurt Alme and independent Seth Bodnar in November’s general election.
