• Judge: No gravel pit settlement reached with county (missoulacurrent.com) — A Missoula County judge has ruled there is no enforceable settlement yet in the dispute over expanding the Hendrickson gravel pit south of Lolo, keeping the long-running fight alive for nearby residents. The Carlton Protection Trust, a group of neighbors, successfully argued that no written agreement was signed, so all parties must either resume negotiations or head to trial over the controversial expansion.
