• Unprecedented Bear Conflicts Surge in Red Lodge Amid Food Shortages (news-usa.today) — Red Lodge is seeing a record spike in bear conflicts, with more than 200 incidents and several bears euthanized in and around town this year. Wildlife officials say unsecured trash, bird feeders, and other attractants are a major cause, and they're urging residents to lock up food sources, stop feeding wildlife, and carry bear spray when moving around the area.
