Habitat Flathead breaks ground for two townhomes in Whitefish with more on horizon (dailyinterlake.com) ā New affordable townhomes are finally going up again on Whitefish Avenue, marking Habitat for Humanity Flatheadās first Whitefish build in 15 years and the kickoff to a decade-long āGrounded in Whitefishā campaign. Backed by resort-tax funding and local philanthropists, the effort aims to construct 10 homes a year so workers and families can keep living in the community they serve.

THE MUSIC OF QUEEN Will Come to The Whitefish Theatre Company (broadwayworld.com) ā Queen fans in Whitefish can catch a high-energy tribute concert at Whitefish Theatre Company July 24ā26, 2026, with 8 p.m. shows each night. A live band and vocalists will perform hits like āBohemian Rhapsodyā and āWe Are the Champions,ā with all tickets priced at $40.

West of Whitefish U.S. 93 work continues with Spencer Hill, Lion Mountain entry impacts (whitefishpilot.com) ā Drivers heading in and out of Whitefish on U.S. 93 west of town should brace for daytime closures, gravel stretches, and delays up to 20 minutes through at least fall 2026. Work near Spencer Hill, Little Mountain, and Lion Mountain Loop will affect local access, so residents should plan extra travel time and watch for flaggers and pilot cars.

Law roundup: Dude, urine public right now (dailyinterlake.com) ā Recent Flathead County law calls included a drunk pedestrian in Whitefish who got lost and needed help, along with several public-urination complaints, loose dogs, and festival scuffles. While most incidents occurred around Kalispell and nearby communities, the roundup offers a snapshot of the minor but colorful problems local deputies are handling this week.
