• Nebraska marks fourth anniversary of the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline (wowt.com) — Boys Town is home to Nebraska’s 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline call center, which handled more than 39,000 contacts in 2025 and de-escalated nearly all crises without emergency response. State officials are highlighting the service’s strong performance and urging residents to share 988 information so more Nebraskans know where to turn in a mental health crisis.
