• 12 treated following chlorine gas exposure at water park (azfamily.com) — Twelve people were evaluated after a chlorine gas exposure Monday at Pawnee Plunge in Columbus, with eight taken to Columbus Community Hospital for further checks. Fire officials say an air bubble likely released chlorine gas during routine maintenance, briefly closing the water park before it reopened. Residents are urged to seek medical care if they notice breathing trouble or chest tightness after exposure.
   

• Chlorine Gas Exposure Sends 8 Water Park Guests to the Hospital (people.com) — A chlorine gas incident at Pawnee Plunge Water Park in Columbus sent eight people to Columbus Community Hospital and led to a brief shutdown of the facility on Monday, June 1. Twelve individuals were evaluated overall, and the Columbus Fire Department says the park has since reopened. Officials are urging anyone exposed to chlorine gas to seek fresh air, shower promptly, and call 911 if breathing problems develop.
