Regents OK shared governance of Nebraska Medicine with Omaha Community Foundation • Nebraska Examiner (nebraskaexaminer.com) — A massive new public‑private partnership will pour hundreds of millions into Nebraska Medicine's Project Health in Omaha, replacing aging Clarkson Hospital with a 14‑story teaching facility and adding thousands of high‑paying jobs. Regents approved shared governance with the Omaha Community Foundation, which is committing $300 million toward the more than $2 billion development and future healthcare expansion.
4. Connect with OPA: Free tickets and discounts for service members, vets and first responders (3newsnow.com) — Omaha Performing Arts is offering free and discounted tickets, classes, and camps to local service members, veterans, and first responders through partnerships with groups like Blue Star Families and VetTix. A new Hero's Encore program will soon use music and performance to support healing and purpose for these neighbors, with easy online sign-up available.
