Omaha Police and Crime Stoppers attended, highlighting support groups and urging residents to share tips that could help solve cold cases and bring closure to grieving neighbors.
2. NRG Adventure Park Proposed for Former Younkers Store (omaha.com) — Oak View Mall's former Younkers building in Omaha could soon become an NRG Adventure Park, featuring trampolines, climbing walls, soft play areas, and virtual reality games. The City of Omaha is currently reviewing a major amendment to the mall's development agreement to allow indoor recreation, potentially breathing new life into the struggling property and adding a family attraction on the west side.
3. Missouri River Basin August runoff varies by location (kornradio.com) — Residents along the Missouri River near Omaha should know that Gavins Point Dam will only provide minimum-service navigation flows through the end of the season, with support ending November 15.
