Make something, wear something creative, and join us for a night of art, music, and beautiful chaos as the Handmade Parade returns to Benson First Friday!
The 2nd Annual Handmade Parade will fill Benson with giant puppets, handmade costumes, cardboard creations, and people-powered art. Everyone is invited to march in the parade or cheer from the sidelines.
Parade Schedule 6 p.m.: Lineup begins at Rose Hill Elementary 6:30 p.m.: Handmade Parade begins Parade route: Along the alleyway south of Maple Street Final destination: Petshop Gallery, 2725 N. 62nd Street Live music and activities will continue at Petshop following the parade.
After the Parade Live music: Wrinkles in Time, Omaha Girls Rock!, TWBIE, and MIDUSA Skateboarding: The Bay Art: Inclusive art market benefiting Maggie Pop’nz Food: Cheeseburger Paradise and Heavenly Body Bakery Presented by Giant Joy Collective and BFF Omaha.

About the Artist:
Greg Warren recently released his special The Salesman, co-produced by Nate Bargatze and 800 Pound Gorilla Media. The project tells the story of his post-college phase when he had a stint selling Jif and Pringles for Procter &amp; Gamble which eventually led to his decision to become a full-time comedian. According to The New York Times, Greg “... has done for peanut butter what Jerry Seinfeld did for Pop-Tarts and Jim Gaffigan did for Hot Pockets.” An honest mix of self-deprecation, frustration and an arsenal of lifelike characters highlight Greg’s colorful perspective.

The Funny Bone has a full bar and a dinner menu is available through your server when you are seated in the showroom!
There is a 2-item minimum purchase per person. This includes all beverages, food, and Funny Bone merchandise.
Seating is done on a first come first seated basis. If you wish to sit with another party, please arrive and enter the showroom together.
Our tables seat 4 people per table. If you have less than 4 tickets, you will be seated with other guests from a separate party at the same table.
All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges. Sales tax and service fees are included in the ticket price.

Make your miles matter at the 43rd Annual Creighton University School of Medicine Walk for Wishes 5K on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Chalco Hills Recreation Area at Wehrspann Lake.
Check-in begins at 8:00 AM outside the Chalco Hills Recreation Building. The 5K begins at 9:00 AM.
Registration includes a 2026 race shirt, refreshments, snacks, and one raffle ticket. Registration is $25 for students and $35 for adults, plus processing. Kids age 5 and under are free at checkout.
