4. A bench full of Seward history (sewardindependent.com) — Just off the Seward Bandshell, a newly restored wooden bench now quietly tells more than 80 years of Seward history, from early concerts to a local family’s love story. 5. Marxhausen leaves mark in Nebraska (milfordtimes.net) — Seward’s art scene still carries the imprint of longtime Concordia University professor and artist Reinhold Marxhausen, whose murals, sculptures, and teaching helped shape local appreciation for creativity.
