• May and June Dates Announced for Annual Tractor and Equipment Safety Training (midwestmedicaledition.com) — Youth and beginning farmers in West Point can earn tractor and equipment safety certification at a two-day course June 10–11 at the Cuming County Fairgrounds. The training covers hazard recognition, emergency response, ATV/UTV safety, and a hands-on driving exam, helping 14- and 15-year-olds meet federal requirements to operate certain farm machinery. Registration details and costs are provided online.
