Mark Twain: From the Grave!”
Carson City’s own master of haunted history and beloved storyteller, Janice Oberding, returns with one of her most spirited lectures—this time bringing none other than Mark Twain himself back to life… from beyond the grave!
Janice isn’t just any historian—she’s the author of more than 55 books, a pioneer in the paranormal field, and the creator of Reno’s famed History Mystery Ghost Walk. She’s been featured on the Travel Channel, Syfy, and the History Channel, and even spent three nights at Alcatraz with the Ghost Hunters crew (by choice, no less!). Around Carson City, she’s known as one of our favorite voices keeping Nevada’s past both lively and, at times, a little spooky.
“Mark Twain: From the Grave!” is a one-of-a-kind presentation that blends Janice’s passion for history with her legendary storytelling flair. Expect wit, chills, and a touch of humor as Twain’s ghostly presence is conjured in the Carriage House—just blocks away from where he once walked the streets of Carson City.
