• School Board Withdraws Student Leadership Policy (fernleyreporter.com) — Lyon County students can now take the school climate survey unless their parents opt out, following a 4-3 school board vote. Parents will still receive advance notice and access to questions. Trustees also withdrew proposed student leadership rules after Fernley and Silver Stage educators and students argued for flexibility.
