• Petition: keep the NICU, labor & delivery units at local hospital (fox5vegas.com) — Thousands of residents and hospital staff are rallying to keep the NICU and labor and delivery units open at Henderson Hospital, which serves fast-growing Ward 3 in northeast Henderson. Organizers fear any closure would deepen the region’s maternal care shortage and force families to travel farther for critical services. Hospital officials say no final decision has been made.
   

• Dental student files civil rights suit against Roseman University, alleging retaliation after reporting harassment (abc4.com) — A Roseman University dental student is suing the school and several administrators, claiming discrimination and retaliation and asking a federal judge to move her to the Henderson campus so she can finish her degree.
