• Washoe County deputies search for suspect in Incline Village tree poisonings (kolotv.com) — Investigators are urgently looking for whoever has poisoned 28 trees at Incline Village’s Burnt Cedar Beach, including 16 just this year, and are working closely with IVGID and horticulture experts to limit the damage. Deputies are asking anyone with cameras or suspicious observations from the area around Aug. 2 to contact the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, as neighbors worry about both the trees and potential impacts on Lake Tahoe.
