Here are the top 3 stories in Las Vegas today:
- Las Vegas Metropolitan Police say one man was killed in a shooting at an apparent drug house on Ogee Drive over the weekend. The incident occurred around 4:00 a.m. on Jun. 12, when officers believe two suspects forced their way inside the residence and shot the victim. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the LVMPD Homicide Section at 702-828-3521. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
- The City of Las Vegas has issued a new animal cruelty ordinance to protect pets during summer weather. The new ordinance requires pet owners to use cooling devices when temperatures are forecasted to exceed 105 degrees. It also prohibits owners from tethering their animals during a National Weather Service heat advisory or for more than 10 hours during any 24-hour period. (Press Release Desk)
- Post Malone will bring his "Twelve Carat Tour" to Las Vegas in November. The recording artist best known for hits like "Congratulations" and "Rockstar" will make the stop as part of a 33-city North American tour to promote his new album, "Twelve Carat Toothache." Tickets go on sale this Friday, Jun. 17, for the performance on Nov. 11. (News3LV)
