Here are the top 3 stories in Las Vegas today:
- Three people were injured in a shooting at a gift shop on the Las Vegas Strip on Tuesday night. According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting occurred on the corner of South Las Vegas Boulevard and West Sahara Avenue around 5:53 p.m., following a theft. The suspect was taken into custody and police believe there are no other outstanding suspects. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
- One person is dead following a homicide at a central Las Vegas apartment complex late Tuesday night. Metropolitan Police Department Lt. David Gordon says the incident occurred around 10:00 p.m. in the 1700 block of West Bonanza Road. Police have not released information about the victim's identity. (Las Vegas Review-Journal)
- Mary J. Blige will bring her Good Morning Gorgeous tour to the Las Vegas Strip in October. The singer will be joined by special guests Ella Mai and Queen Naija during the performance at the Michelob Ultra Arena on Oct. 8. Tickets are available to the general public beginning tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. (Las Vegas Review-Journal)
