Amazon's New Headquarters: Vegas Says 'Pick Us' [VIDEO]
The 150-page proposal highlights the area's strengths, particularly no income tax and no corporate tax.

Las Vegas thinks that they have a great idea for Las Vegas.: open your second headquarters here. The city — working with Henderson, North Las Vegas, and Clark County – has sent the tech giant a 150-page proposal and five minute video touting the wisdom of relocating to the valley.
While Amazon requires that details of the actual proposal be kept confidential, officials have been touting the fact that the there's no income tax and no corporate tax.

Amazon announced earlier this year that they are looking to open a second corporate headquarters, which it os referring to as "HQ2."
The company says that which ever city is selected — about 100 cities are believed to have submitted proposals — will received around 50,000 employees that make about $100,000 per year.

Amazon says that they want a city with a population of at least one million, with a business friendly environment and located near an international airport.
The Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance, one of the government agencies assisting with the bid, put together a 5:10 video that was also sent to Amazon.
Not everyone thinks opening taxpayer wallets for one of the wealthiest companies in the world is such a good idea. San Antonio backed out of the competition last week for just that reason.
The city and stare have opened the coffers before most recently incentives to the Oakland Raiders and Tesla.
