🌱 Apparent Murder-Suicide + 'Now Auditioning Ukranian Strippers'

Here are the top three stories in Las Vegas today:

  1. A mother and son missing from Las Vegas have been found deceased in California in an apparent murder-suicide. The bodies of 46-year-old Alma Molina and 2-year-old Erik Villarreal were found in a vehicle on the afternoon of May 8. Investigators currently believe Molina fatally shot Villareal, then died by suicide. (News3LV)
  2. For the past two weeks, a Las Vegas strip club has featured an unconventional sign reading "Now Auditioning Ukrainian Strippers." Little Darlings, located near I-15 and Charleston Boulevard, has been long known for its unique and sometimes controversial ads. According to Pete Dottore, a manager at the club, the sign has caught the attention of three Ukrainian dancers — one of whom has been hired. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
  3. A Las Vegas-based veteran support organization is spreading awareness of how cannabis can help with post-traumatic stress disorder. Veterans Care Charity, which helps homeless veterans across the valley, has partnered with a local dispensary, The Sanctuary. The dispensary has provided free PTSD seminars on YouTube, pledged $5,000 to the charity, and is offering 15 percent discounts for Military Appreciation Month. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
