- Currently, Las Vegas Police are on the search for an armed individual in possession of a firearm who was last seen on Thursday afternoon. The person in possession was around the Sahara Avenue and Lindell Road area, and police are asking for the public to avoid the area if possible. Thankfully, there have been no reports of any injuries. (KTNV 13 Action News Las Vegas)
- Philanthropist MacKenzie Scott has announced that she will be donating $1 million to Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas. This gift is a part of a larger donation to Habitat for Humanity International. The public hopes that this donation will be used to "help address the growing need for affordable housing in the Las Vegas valley." (News3LV)
