🌱 Fire Causes $100,000 in Damage + Jeopardy Winner's Parents Sue

First, today's weather:

Here are the top 3 stories today in Las Vegas:
- A gigantic fire has caused $100,000 in damage to a boarded-up building. Fortunately, firefighters were quick to jump on the scene and put out the fire in around three hours. When calls were made initially, people saw many of the homeless exit the building. There are no reported injuries. (Las Vegas Review-Journal)
- 'Jeopardy!' champ's parents are in the process of suing the hospital where they claim their son was killed during surgery. Last Feb., the five-time winner of Jeopardy, Brayden Smith, sadly passed away after undergoing abdominal surgery. His parents are not just accusing Dignity Health of his passing but also for the many days of his suffering prior. (Las Vegas Sun)
- The Girl Scouts of Troop 668 and of all Southern Nevada are encouraging everyone to check out their new way of selling cookies this year. They state that this week is going to bring you some "warm-ish" weather in comparison to the bitter cold everyone has been experiencing. - The City of Las Vegas Government is celebrating the Las Vegas Raiders' win this past Monday! The Raiders will now have a spot in the AFC playoffs. They will be in Cincinnati for Saturday's game to open the wild-card round. (Facebook)
