Here are the top three stories today in Las Vegas:
- A high level of COVID has been reported in the Las Vegas area. - A driver died on Friday morning after a beam fell onto their car on southbound U.S. 95 in the northwest valley. According to a Highway Patrol spokesperson, an overloaded construction truck carrying equipment had hit an early warning beam which knocked it out of place; it then fell onto a sedan following behind. The driver, who was the only occupant, was pronounced dead at the scene. (News3LV)

The machine is located at the Bonneville Transit Center and offers take-home Covid tests packed inside that are 100 percent free.
