Here are the top three stories in Las Vegas today:
- The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the death of an infant found on Convaire Avenue, near East Craig Road and North Nellis Boulevard. The county coroner's office identified the body as that of Dominic Rojas, 1, earlier this week. Rojas' cause and manner of death are still pending; the investigation is ongoing. (Las Vegas Review-Journal)
- The biggest night in music is headed to the Vegas Strip for the first time this Sunday, Apr. 3. The Grammy Awards relocated to Las Vegas this year due to rising COVID-19 cases in Los Angeles in January. Viewers can stream the live show, taking place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, starting at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time on CBS and the Paramount+ streaming service. (News3LV)
- In an effort to make fresh produce more accessible, the "Veggie Buck Truck" pop-up produce markets will return to Las Vegas this spring and fall. The produce markets, scheduled to be held at the Bonneville Transit Center and the Southern Nevada Health District, will offer a pound of fresh fruits and/or vegetables for approximately one dollar.
