Here are the top 3 stories in Las Vegas today:
- The cost of living in Las Vegas has been on the rise and is not stopping anytime soon. It has caused many to be on the brink of homelessness, and it has left many with no choice but to move to a weekly. Kisha Walker, one of many struggling with this issue, stated that her landlord increased the rent by nearly $300 which forced her and her husband to move. She also stated that the rent increases were not tied to an improved living experience. According to Walker, it "has just spiraled out of control." (KTNV 13 Action News Las Vegas)
- This past Saturday, a fundraiser was held to benefit children living in Ukraine. 310 Nutrition Shake Shop donated 100 percent of the shop's sales to an orphanage located in Ukraine. If you want to support this local business and its initiative for Ukraine, stop by the store between now and Mar. 25. (News3LV)
