Here are the top three stories today in Las Vegas:
- A Las Vegas man has been accused of using a stun gun on a cat and threatening neighbors. Carlos Plummer, 55, has been arrested on suspicion of torturing an animal, harassment, and possessing a stun gun while a felon. Plummer will appear in court on May 17 and is currently being held on a $10,000 bail. (News3LV)
- William Voy, longtime Clark County District Court judge, is retiring. Voy has spent almost 25 years serving on the bench after being appointed by Governor Bob Miller in 1998. His retirement will go into effect on May 31. (Las Vegas Sun)
- Clark County has begun hosting its government surplus auction online. Residents can view items in person at 4530 Alto Avenue today. There are about 200 vehicles for auction along with 225 miscellaneous items. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
