Here are the top 3 stories today in Las Vegas:
- Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department reports that a mobile home fire has resulted in the death of a woman. The fire occurred at Echo Park in the 1300 block of S. Mojave Rd on Jan. 26, 2022. Fire crews report that the fire was started during an infidelity argument resulting in a bed being lit on fire. Crews treated burn injuries at the scene with one woman later succumbing to the injuries that covered one hundred percent of her body. (FOX5 Las Vegas)

- Las Vegas catered to 32.2 million tourists during the 2021 year, according to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. The new data saw rates below previous years. Hotel occupancy across Las Vegas was 66.8 percent which was below the 88.9 percent rate of 2019. Authorities hope that tourism numbers will recover after the pandemic. (News3LV)
