Here are the top three stories today in Las Vegas:

  1. The Las Vegas Caravan for Mammogram will be on Oct. 15 at 10:30 a.m. The caravan will be starting at the Las Vegas All Women's Care Office's parking lot on Shadow Lane. The event is meant to promote breast cancer awareness among Black women and underserved communities. (Subscription: Las Vegas Review-Journal)
  2. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has arrested a 41-year-old woman for murder after her claims conflict with incident footage. Kimberly Warth claimed she shot her partner in an act of self-defense on Aug. 17 in the 6200 block of Whitelion Walk Street. The department seized two video cameras attached to the victim's workstation in the home. She will appear in court on Monday. (News3LV)
  3. The suspect arrested for a mass stabbing on the Las Vegas Strip on Thursday has confessed to the incident. According to a law enforcement official, Yoni Barrios, 32, gave his apology and acknowledged what he did was wrong during questioning by detectives. Investigators are currently searching multiple phones Barrios had in his possession during the mass stabbing. Two individuals died during the incident and six victims remain hospitalized.
