🌱 Man Allegedly Robs 7 Vegas Businesses + Boba Shop Attack

Here are the top 3 stories in Las Vegas today:
- A man has been accused of robbing seven businesses in 12 days according to reports from the Las Vegas police. 33-year-old Alfonzo Robas is facing seven counts of robbery with a deadly weapon. He also has an account of burglary with a firearm and has been suspected of robbing six gas stations and a pharmacy. Lobas has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Feb. 15. (FOX5 Las Vegas)
- Charges have been dropped against the man who was accused of committing a hate crime against a boba shop worker in Las Vegas. Anthony Dishari allegedly attacked the worker, attempted robbery, and resisted arrest. The case was dismissed with prejudice, meaning the charges cannot be refiled; the D.A.'s office declined to comment on the case. (News3LV)
- A Las Vegas school custodian received accolades in a national contest. Sonia Fernandez is the head custodian at Ferron Elementary School. Her hard work for the school is driven by her beliefs which encourage her to clean the school as if her own children were attending. She is now a finalist for the Custodians Are Key recognition program and in the running for the $15,000 prize. (Las Vegas Review-Journal)
