The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in Las Vegas.

Get on up, Las Vegas! Let's get this Thursday started off right. Here's everything you need to know about what's happening today in town.

First, today's weather:

Warm with plenty of sunshine. High: 74 Low: 49.

Here are the top three stories in Las Vegas today:

  1. A Las Vegas bartender was forced to repay stolen money to his company after he was robbed at gunpoint. On Dec. 4, 2020, Edward Parker was working at the Lodge Hualapai when an armed assailant entered and ordered him "to kneel on the ground and put his hands behind his head" while the gunman stole $3,937.35, according to a Clark County civil complaint. The victim was later presented with a "repayment form" from his bosses, which docked his paycheck $300 at a time before the nearly $4,000 debt was paid off by the end of June. (Yahoo! News)
  2. A man has been arrested for threatening to blow up a Las Vegas casino. On Friday, 46-year-old Brian Gower was arrested at The Strat Hotel and Casino after threatening to "blow the building up." Gower, who was previously arrested in 2021 after making a similar threat in Downtown Las Vegas, is now facing one count of making threats of conveying false information concerning an act of terrorism.
