Here are the top three stories in Las Vegas today:
- A low-cost carrier has added flights from Las Vegas to two cities in Mexico. On Wednesday, Frontier announced that they will launch nonstop service from Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) to Guadalajara, Mexico (GDL) and Monterrey, Mexico (MTY) beginning in May and June, respectively. Beginning in May, they will also debut year-round nonstop service to Albuquerque, NM (ABQ). (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
- Today, Circa Resort & Casino in downtown Las Vegas will be hosting a hiring event for over 150 positions. The job fair will promote open positions spanning a variety of departments, including security, cage, stadium swim, table games, and more. Applicants must be over the age of 21 and will be interviewed on the spot, with a response from human resources given the same day. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
- The city of North Las Vegas has partnered with In-N-Out to encourage kids to read. Now through Apr. 16, children ages four through 12 can receive "Cover to Cover Achievement," coupons (up to three per child) from the library for every five books they read, which can be redeemed for a free burger at In-N-Out. Children can participate by signing up online or at any North Las Vegas Library location and logging the books they read. (KTNV 13 Action News Las Vegas)
