Here are the top stories today in Las Vegas:
- One person is in the hospital after a shooting in northeast Las Vegas on Friday afternoon. According to police, the shooting happened at an apartment complex at 3985 East Cheyenne Avenue. Police responded to a call around 3:30 p.m. As of Friday evening, police have not released the condition of the victim, nor have they made any arrests. (Las Vegas Review-Journal)
- A real estate agent was attacked in a model home that she was showing. The police have arrested an individual in relation to the incident, which took place on Jul. 11. The man arrested faces charges including home invasion, attempted sexual assault, and lewdness, among others. According to police, the agent had locked the door and windows of the model home before the man broke a window to enter the home and perform a lewd act while pinning the woman down. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
