At the same time, officers are flagging aggressive jury-duty and warrant scams, urging valley residents to hang up, verify agency numbers independently, and report suspicious calls.

Las Vegas domestic violence survivors fear seeking help over immigration status, SafeNest says (fox5vegas.com) — Las Vegas domestic violence survivors who fear seeking help due to immigration concerns now have expanded support from SafeNest, including a bilingual, 24/7 hotline. The group stresses it does not ask about immigration status and is focused solely on helping survivors of domestic and sexual violence, offering counseling and resources to anyone in the community who reaches out.
