- Passengers flying on a red-eye flight early Friday morning have quite the story to tell as a landing gear issue reportedly caused their plane to experience a "hard landing" at Harry Reid International Airport. According to an airport spokesman, a Sun Country plane heading to Minneapolis, Minnesota, turned around mid-flight to make a hard landing just before 1:30 a.m. after the landing gear collapsed. Fortunately, none of the 56 people on board were hurt. (Las Vegas Patch)
