🌱 Police Search For Suspect In Fatal Crash + Massive Hole Filled

Morning, Las Vegas! Here's everything you need to know to get this day started. These are the most important things happening around town today.


First, today's weather:

An afternoon shower; cold. High: 44 Low: 41.


Here are the top stories today in Las Vegas:

  1. Police are searching for the suspect in a fatal hit-and-run crash. Las Vegas police found the white box truck that was involved in the crash, however, they are still trying to identify the driver. Police say they were called at 5:42 a.m. Tuesday with a report of a vehicle hitting a person on Charleston Boulevard. (Las Vegas Review-Journal)
  2. On Tuesday, a Las Vegas man who is accused of driving with human remains in his truck was denied bail. Police say they found human remains in the man's car after trying to conduct a traffic stop last Thursday. (FOX5 Las Vegas)
  3. The massive hole in the ground near Ikea in southwest Las Vegas was filled with dirt, making the surface of the plot closer to street level. The hole was about 30 feet deep. A new fitness facility is scheduled to be under construction there this summer. (Las Vegas Review-Journal)
