  1. A North Las Vegas charter school principal was placed on administrative leave after being accused of discrimination. These allegations came from Legacy Charter School's North Valley campus. According to reports, Superintendent Jennifer Emling sent out a letter to the school community that Principal Candida Wadsworth was placed on leave, effective immediately. No further information about the acts of discrimination was disclosed; the story is still developing. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
  2. Las Vegas' Electric Daisy Carnival is just around the corner and Airbnb prices are on the rise. Even though some EDC participants will be staying in tents on the campground, many other people will be utilizing other forms of lodging. According to a survey, "the average nightly cost for Airbnb rentals is $693 for the dates that the festival is in town" which is a 33 percent jump from the previous week. (News3LV)
