Here are the top three stories today in Las Vegas:
- The Las Vegas man accused of murdering a four-year-old boy claimed his mother 'colluded' in hiding the body. 35-year-old Brandon Toseland was charged with the murder of his girlfriend's son, Mason Dominguez, and has been indicted for murder, child abuse, kidnapping, and domestic violence. Toseland has been held without bail in the Clark County Detention Center since his Feb. 22 arrest. (KTNV 13 Action News Las Vegas)
- The Little Vegas Chapel will be offering "Star Wars"-themed wedding packages for May 4. Packages include the "I Chewse You," which features a Princess Leia-dressed officiant for $549, and the $777 "Yoda One For Me," which includes limo services, photography, video recording, and franchise-inspired bouquet, music, and boutonniere. May 4 is commonly known as Star Wars Day (May the 4th Be With You). (News3LV)
- Thirteen people were arrested in a multi-agency child sex sting this week, according to Las Vegas police. The two-day undercover operation, which took place on Apr. 26 and 27, included LVMPD, the FBI, Homeland Security, Henderson Police, North Las Vegas Police, the Nevada Attorney General's Office, and the US Air Force. Undercover police posed as juveniles online and set up meet-ups with adult suspects who were soliciting them for sex. Click the link to view the suspects' names. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
