Here are the top three stories today in Las Vegas:

  2. Las Vegas' Silverton Casino is offering incentives for locals to retire "Elf on the Shelf" characters. Those who want to participate will be given an official retirement certificate, a cocktail voucher, and a toy donated to a toy drive on the casino's behalf.
