🌱 Suspect Arrested In Hotel Stabbing + Free Weezer Concert

  1. A suspect has been arrested in the stabbing death of a man earlier this month at a Las Vegas hotel. Nicholas Dove, 27, was booked at the Clark County Detention Center on counts of open murder and battery with the use of a deadly weapon resulting in substantial bodily harm. Detectives believe Dove and the victim had an altercation prior to the stabbing and believe the incident was drug related. (Las Vegas Sun)
  2. A free concert on the Las Vegas Strip will kick off the opening night of CES in Jan. According to a press release from Drone Racing League, Weezer will play outside of T-Mobile Arena at the Drone Racing League Vegas Championship Race Presented by T-Mobile on Jan. 5. CES runs Jan. 5-8 and complimentary passes to attend DRL Vegas Championship Race are available at drl.io/vegas. (Las Vegas Review-Journal)
  3. A Las Vegas woman killed her boyfriend in a deadly shooting during an argument over the weekend. The shooting occurred in the 900 block of East Twain Avenue, near University Center Drive, on Dec. 19., and two juveniles were inside the apartment when the incident occurred. 37-year-old Shanika Smith was taken into custody without incident and was transported to the Clark County Detention Center.
